Happy Canadian Bacon day

I love a bacon butty! I am always saying I couldn't be Vegetarian because I really couldn't give up
Bacon.

If I have pancakes I like them with bacon and maple syrup, which I had for dinner on Tuesday.

I really don't need an excuse to have a good old bacon butty.

So Breakfast today for me is this and for Natasha it's a facon butty.

Day two of the build

Day two and the digger is back. I really didn't expect them to come today with the weather. But come they did and worked none stop all day.

|We have massive footings. They have had to use the original one which are eight foot deep.

|The poor cats hate all this mess and noise especially cippy.

Chippy likes to spend his days doing his own thing coming and going through the cat flap. So i think he feels locked in.



This one on the other hand is pudding and  is a nosy bugger and likes to meet new people.

They both like this big hole.

Lets see what today brings. 

Good news and bad

The bad news is the snow is really heavy and it's blowing a gale.

We also have these back but only in the living room. They said that's the only place they have found damp.

I'me  looking at it this way. it's really cold so free heat for a week.


Did you spot the skip.

We have started the build. It should have started eight weeks ago. I refuse to wait any longer.

The footings are getting dug. They should be 4 feet deep but because the original footing are there and are 8 foot that's what we are having to have.

There's always a problem. :-(

Feeling frustrated

Geoffs work van was broke into last night. They stole all his power tools so he couldn't do his work today. He works with Electric keeping peoples electric on really important in this weather.

He had to spend most of the day getting his window fixed and reporting the theft to the police.

I am so mad about it all. Get a job!! :-((

Too much alcohol

I have been in bed all day. I didn't even stay out that late. I was in at 21:00.

I am such a lightweight
