HAppy Anniversary

It's our anniversary today. We never married, we just never got round to it so we just celebrate every year on the date we met.

So today it's 38 years since we met. We usually go away for the weekend, but because of all the money we have spent recently we are going out to our favorite restaurant.

Good news

Well I got an email from the insurance company last night and after my complaint about the loss adjusters the insurance company decided in my favour.And are paying out for the damage the flood did to the kitchen floor.

So some good news for a change.

Currys also agreed to pay the second installation fee I had to pay when I exchanged my cooker.

Sky are coming out this morning and looking at the damage one of there engineers did to my bricks when they moved the cables.

And these loose wires they left hanging.

The Fire is being fitted next week so hopefully all will be finished soon. 

Painting cupboards

The dining room is coming together now. Hopefully by the end of next week everything should be done.
The windows are being fitted at the front next week. The blinds are being finished and the cornice at the end of the kitchen is being fitted.

Geoff can put my shelves up then and I can get the boxes emptied that have been in the cellar.

I am really going to go through it all and take it to the car boot.
