Recycling

Recycling

I needed a new lamp shade as the the one I did a few years ago was looking a little tatty. So I took two napkins a little glue and Tad-dah

Then I had to nip out and look what I found on the road. It even has it's original Bakelite handles. I have just given it it's first coat of Farrow and Balls Dimity.

Two napkins, eh? Looks like more than that to me. Beautiful! I am so jealous of that piece you found. It is pure gold. I can't wait to see it when completely transformed.

Hi Jeanne your right I used about 4 napkins. I meant to write a few not two. Thanks for pointing it out;-)
The drawers are drying nicely hope to finish them tomorrow after work.

I didn't mean to have the two napkins be a negative. I was thinking that you performed a miracle with only two. No matter, the lampshade is lovely.

Okay. Well I didn't know you fixed it up yourself!!
Now I don't only like it, I LOVE it... I want to learn how to upcycle furniture as well!
