Charity shop bargains

I nipped round the charity shop this morning and got a few bargains.

This little Tilly lamp in my favorite color

And then I walked into another and look wt was there.

And then I got really excited look at this

And look how old it is!! its a bit battered but I have plans for it.

And I added to my jelly mold collection

I love looking around the charity shops. I got all this for less than £15.00. I am going to a Retro vintage fair on Sunday, I bet theirs nothing there for under £15.00.

Every year we get a visit from pair of ducks. Last year they had a friend tagging along. They arrived back yesterday and guess what they still had there friend with them. They will breed soon and they will bring the ducklings to visit us. I don't know where they go at night but every morning they come here to my work knocking on the windows with there beaks for food.It's not like we are near any ponds or anything they just turn up and waddle about the car park quacking all day.

I will try and find a photo of them with the ducklings from last year.

Does any one no anything about ducks and could maybe shed some light on why they come.

Sorry for being AWOL

I seem to have been at work since coming back from holiday. And feel I haven't had a minute to myself, with all the washing, ironing and putting away.

Any way today I sat and tried to plan a cottage garden. I have bought lots of seeds. I want it to look something like the images below.

Happy St David's day

St David (Welsh: Dewi Sant) was born towards the end of the fifth century. He was a scion of the royal house of Ceredigion, and founded a Celtic monastic community at Glyn Rhosyn (The Vale of Roses) on the western headland of Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro), at the spot where St David's Cathedral stand's today. David's fame as a teacher and ascetic spread throughout the Celtic world. His foundation at Glyn Rhosin became an important Christian shrine, and the most important centre in Wales. The date of Dewi Sant's death is recorded as 1 March, but the year is uncertain – possibly 588. As his tearful monks prepared for his death St David uttered these words: 'Brothers be ye constant. The yoke which with single mind ye have taken, bear ye to the end; and whatsoever ye have seen with me and heard, keep and fulfil'.
For centuries, 1 March has been a national festival. St David was recognised as a national patron saint at the height of Welsh resistance to the Normans. St David's day was celebrated by Welsh diaspora from the late Middle Ages.

I went to an Art to study drama.

I started blogging because I belonged to the Shabby chic forum and we all started a blog.I didn't blog and have just started to use it again.

I would love to have a double fronted house.

My own. Its a bit of everything.

Defiantly a cat person.
