19/03/2018

I need this today as I am feeling quite down with the house looking a mess. I know it will be worth it in the end, but the end seems far away. And because I work full time I seem to spend all my free time cleaning and trying to keep on top of this dust.

This is what I was saying to Geoff yesterday. But secretly i'm fed up of it.

Chips enjoying the snow. ❤

Pudding enjoying the heat.❤

Back to work today after a week off. The joys!

Once again I am up a silly o'clock wide awake. I will be ready for bed again at lunchtime.

I have put Beef stifado in the slow cooker for dinner. I just have to cook the vegetables when I get in.

The concrete went in yesterday for the footings. They are going to finish the footings on Friday and work the weekend to catch up with the build.

This came up on my time hop yesterday. The cheeky boy.

We named and shamed him.

My name is pudding and I just stole a whole bag of dreamies and ate every one.

Wombling

A couple of blogs I read are talking about wonbling. For people who don't know what that is it's picking up receipts off the floor any where in the supermarket the car park department stores.

You can have your loyalty points put on your card if the receipt hasn't already been used.

Apart from that I also use my receipts to collect  rewards I can redeem at Amazon and Paypal.

It  must have been sunny today my lights are on on my gate

And puddings found a new place to sit

Bancroft

I have just finished watching the TV programme Bancroft that was on ITV. Early last year I got home from work and found a note through the door asking me to contact the composer of the note.

I rang them and it turned out it was a scouting company that looks for locations for TV companies to film at. It turned out they wanted to use my house to film some scenes for a new Police TV drama. BANCROFT!.

Now the problem with that is we as you know have two furbabies and they don't like strangers in the house, never mind loads of them trawling through the house leaving all the doors open, and maybe even changing decor. All things considered and discussed we decided against it.

It wa nice to watch it and see the house they used around the corner. Although I'm glad we said no I wouldn't like to think someone got murdered in my Kitchen.

Spoilt furbabies, You can just see Pudding in his bed on the floor behind Chips x

CATS CATS AND CATS

I love cats my mum loves cats and my children love cats.I have always had cats We have two very spoilt boys Pudding and Chips. Who are still only babies at 4.

I have been on a rescue mission tonight before work I'm on nights this week. There has been a cat straying for quite some time near a busy main road. She has had one litter of kittens we only managed to save one a few weeks ago by trapping him. We tried and tried to get mummy but she was just too clever for the trap.

The little boy has been re-homed and I am told is very happy.

Due to the weather forecast and the fact that we thought she could be pregnant again it was time to try and trap her. We baited the traps with hot chicken and smelly fish and straight away we had her. Or so we thought.

It was this little sod. We had taken her home yesterday after she followed my daughter to the bus stop. We let her out and I took her home.
I had to leave the rescuers as I had to get to work. But as soon as I arrived I got the message I was hoping for we had her.

She's now warm and safe and that's the main thing. The rescue will take her to the vet tomorrow to make sure she's not pregnant and get her neutered.

Cats, cats and more cats!!!!

Our beloved cat Peanut passed away in October 2013
Although I said I wouldn't get anymore Kitties, The house was just so empty and I wasn't happy.

We had a look round and went to a shelter and found this little chap.

Meet Pudding. My little Christmas Pudding. He's 7 weeks old.
We had him two days and he was all depressed because he had no one to play with like he did at the shelter. They had no other Kitties that needed a home. So it was off looking again.

Then on the Saturday Morning we brought Chips home. He was only 5 weeks old  and really should have still been with his mother. But the house we got him from was dire!!!! and I would have worried if we hadn't have taken him.

Look at us we are growing!!
