We were going to make the Ginger bread house we were meant to make on Sunday. But it was so cold we decided to have  a couch day and watch Miracle  on 34th street and it's a wonderful life. Both films I had never seen before.

Its officially Christmas in this house. We spent all yesterday buying trees and prettying them up!!

I read about the Redflek Radiator Reflectors

 I read about the Redflek Radiator Reflectors in Martin's email from money saving expert.com.Unfortunatly I was not one of the lucky 1000 to claim a  free pack.

I thought I would give them a go and went ahead and bought a pack. It has cost £13.00 to do the whole house. And they were so easy to fit.  I have to say it is really nice and toasty even  after turning the thermostat down.
I will keep you up to date on how we get on with them.

We went off to the Christmas fair yesterday. My eldest daughter Jade got a 50 piece royal Albert country roses  dinner service for £10.00.

I have come across a house not very far away/. And I Love Love Love it. Its empty and derelict and I just want to love it and make it all gorgeous. This obsession has gone on for weeks know I have even been on www.land registry.co.uk to see who owns it with no luck. My idea is if I can find out.

Empty Nest

Well my baby has gone back to university today, so we now have empty nest syndrome what makes it worse is its my weekend off and Geoff's working. What shall I do the whole weekends stretching ahead!!.

I have just bought these, I bought one at Christmas and it smelt lovely and lasted forever.

Not been on here for ages Happy new year.
I have made a list of things I want to do this year.
1 Clear my house of clutter, I started before Christmas and made a fair bit on eBay.
2Read more books, I got a kindle for Christmas so no excuses.
3Take more photos and post on here.
Save save save for Geoff's special birthday next year.

I need to lose some weight so have joined Slimming World I will update on Thursday after weigh in.

I haven't blooged this month because we haven't had any Internet connection. I made a promise to my self that I would blog at least once a week.
Without Internet connection I have got so much done the house is clean all the washing and ironing is done. I have been busy using the camera I got for my birthday and the camera on my phone,theses are all the things that have made me happy this month. A bunch of Daffs. A new Bag

Back to work

Well i have gone back to work after 6 week's off with the flu. Nothing changes I was swore at by a 3 year old yesterday I was shocked, which is a good thing that means I still care apparently. For people who don't know me I work with homeless families who have complex needs.
Just as I was sat there still wondering what to do about it Tasha texted me and asked if Emma bridgewater had a cafe she was thinking of going there for lunch as she was training across the road.Then started texting me asking do you want this for your birthday. She knows what buttons to press.




On a nicer note I am going to watch all this weeks Land girls on my day off and carry on with this.

The snow and the robbin is back.

I got up this morning and looked out of the kitchen window to OMG snow and a big fat Robbin. I have been looking for him every morning for a few weeks now.

Well I have managed to not buy any food apart from veg, I haven't even manged to make a dent in the freezer as yet. I am not back in work till Friday and I am going back to work I don't care what the doctor says. I haven't told you but I have had swine flu and have been off work since the 5Th December as it left me very week and with a really bad chest infection, the GP keeps saying you need to rest well I am rested, bored and better so off to work I go on Friday.
So t will be a test then if I can keep up with emptying the food mountain out of this house time will tell.

New year new start

Well it's been a whole year nearly since I blogged. In that time I have stopped smoking, learnt to swim and put lots of weight on. Been ill most of the year with colds and flu I even had a cold in Santorini in July. Whats that all about.
So this year I am going to lose this weight ( I am going to join a gym) and walk more, eat a more health diet.

I am going to empty my freezer and store cupboard before I go to Mr T's again, there is only three of us at home, Tash is busy being a student in Stoke most of the time, so I think I will set myself a challenge to use it all up and set myself a budget of £20.00 a week for bread, milk, veg and fruit. I think I have enough food in the house to last all of January anyone care to join.

OMG

Oh my god I can not believe it has been so long since i posted something on my blog. I have been ill most of last year. So I am determined to post here at least once a week from now on. Geoff's taking me shopping tomorrow for my birthday present, he says I have to go cos he doesn't know what I like GOD after 30 years you would think he knows me by now.I will post what I got tomorrow. He did very well with my Christmas presents, he just went into CK and said I will take everything the girls went with him though . God I was spoiled this year so only want a token birthday present.
